Somali American Artists Association

The mission of Somali American Artists Association (SAAA) is to serve the Somali American Artists community by delivering quality, compassionate services to all Somali artists regardless of their association (and other african artists) in Minneapolis, Minnesota and all of North America.

Somali American Artists Association is a not for profit artists association dedicated to the support and development of Somali American artists at home and abroad. Formed in 10/18/ 2005, the organization is founded and operated by the Somali legend, song writer, musician, singer and composer Ahmed Ali igal Aymo (Axmed Cali Cigaal Caymo) , for Somalli American artists. Its goals are to promote Somali American art as American art, and to provide resources, support and tools to assist Somali and African artists find their way in the American and International Art Industry.

The Somali American artists association provides support to Somali professional artists in America through support for the professional development of women artists, youth and adults, international exhibits and community outreach programs to foster an enabling environment for the development and promotion of public health through artistic endeavours.
